DNews and Pews Group of Institutions donate Rs 4 Lakh to Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund together
Guwahati 1 Aug,2026: DNews, in association with Pews Group of Institutions, has contributed Rs 4 lakh to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the recent floods across Assam.
The donation was handed over at the Chief Minister’s Office by DNews Managing Director Ramendra Kumar Chamuah.
As part of its flood relief initiative, DNews and Pews Group of Institutions will organise a health camp and will distribute relief materials among flood-affected families. The programme aims to provide immediate medical assistance and essential supplies to people impacted by the floods.
The organisation said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting communities during times of crisis and contributing to ongoing relief efforts in Assam.
DNews has also appealed to individuals, organisations and well-wishers to come forward and support flood-affected families. Those willing to contribute can join the relief initiative assistance to more people in need.
