Assam: Three Royal Global University students injured in Guwahati road accident; one critical

Guwahati 3 Aug, 2026 : Three students of Royal Global University were injured after a Tata Nexon crashed into a footpath and an electricity pole at Birubari in Guwahati on Monday. One of the students is reported to be in critical condition.

The vehicle, bearing registration number AS01GA5653, was travelling from Nepali Mandir towards Lakhra when it went out of control and hit the footpath before crashing into an electricity pole.

The injured students were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. While one student remains in critical condition, the condition of the other two has not been officially confirmed.

Police reached the accident site shortly after the crash and have started an investigation into the incident. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be established.
